It would be too harsh to compare it with the old Lava Kusa but this is the closest a movie produced in current generation could come.

Nandamuri Bala Krishna should be appreciated for taking up this project up front and also Producer Yalamanchali Saibaba who took up this project at the times where only commercial cinema works and he has provided whatever is required to the movie without thinking twice. This mythological extravaganza works because of the excellent technical team lead by Bapu and Illayaraja. Go and watch it. This is one of the best mythological dramas you can ever see.
